Reviews and Ratings
Staying at Nissos Beach Apartments was a mixed experience. The location was great, close to restaurants and shops, but not ideal for nightlife enthusiasts. The rooms were tiny and had shower issues, yet we found out about a triple room on the last day that looked fabulous. The service was a bit lacking, with some noise disturbances from other guests and issues with cleanliness and additional charges. Dining options varied from not worth waking up for to excellent and attentive service.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, not too far from the lively old town yet still a bit of a hike to the beach. The service, although some staff were not very accommodating, was decent overall. The dining experience left much to be desired with limited options and pesky flies around the cheap food. On the bright side, the facilities were quite impressive, making up for some of the shortcomings.
The hotel had its ups and downs, with spacious rooms that accommodated all three of us comfortably being a highlight, but issues like a poor air-conditioner and a clogged sink were disappointing. The service, especially the pool bar staff, was friendly, and the hotel was quiet at night. The location was convenient, being near the old town and not far from the beach. The dining options were great overall, although some unexpected aspects were encountered. The facilities were satisfactory but had some unmet expectations.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Malia, making it perfect for enjoying the vibrant nightlife with easy access to restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms at the back of the complex, which I only discovered on my last day, were fabulous, offering a nice surprise. However, there was some disappointment due to an incident with our deposit at the end of the trip.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the bright side, the room was fairly large with a good-sized comfortable bed, a safe, and a balcony. However, it was challenging to shower without the curtain sticking and flooding the bathroom. The service from Costas, Manos, Maria, and the staff was nice and helpful, but there were issues like threatening to call the police and additional charges. The location was convenient, near the strip and the beach, though the nightlife area wasn't the best. The dining experience was excellent with friendly and attentive staff, offering a great selection of food, but there were occasional issues with cleanliness. The facilities were satisfactory, but improvements could be made.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was fairly large with a comfortable bed and a nice balcony, which was great for relaxing. However, the tiny shower made it difficult to shower comfortably without causing a flood in the bathroom.
The hotel surprised us with a substantially worse room, which we only found out about on the last day, but the rooms we stayed in looked fabulous. The staff, especially Costas, his son Manos, Maria, and the lovely team, were amazing and always cheerful, providing recommendations for family-friendly restaurants and car hire. The service was top-notch. The location was nice, just far enough from the lively strip but close to the charming old town, attentive to guest needs. However, the hotel is in a trashy touristic area for nightlife, not the good ones, and could be described as 'hell on earth. ' The dining experience was okay, with excellent choices, although the Wi-Fi was only available in specific areas, not by the pool, and the beach was a bit further away. Facilities were notable for their comfortable setting and fresh vegetables.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with comfortable rooms and a welcoming staff. However, the dining experience was lacking, and there were some additional charges to watch out for. The location was convenient and close to the lively party scene, making it a good choice for those who want to be in the heart of the action.
The hotel rooms were large enough to accommodate all three of us, which was a real advantage. The front location meant some noise from other guests returning late, but the rooms were very basic and in poor condition. The service was extremely nice and helpful, which added to the quiet nights. The location was good, near the old town but not far from the beach. The dining experience was satisfactory but could have been better with improved Wi-Fi coverage. Overall, the hotel offers spacious rooms but could benefit from some refurbishment.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were beyond basic and somewhat run down, but they were quite spacious, with a comfy bed and a balcony to enjoy. The service varied from being welcoming and helpful to unwelcoming in certain situations. Despite the mixed service, the location was a great hub for accessing restaurants, bars, shops, and the beach. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good variety of buffet-style food available. The facilities were decent overall, offering what was needed but nothing extraordinary.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms definitely need a makeover in terms of decor and furniture, but they are spacious with a cozy bed and a lovely balcony. Surprisingly, I discovered some fabulous room options on my last day. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.
I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this gem of a hotel with fantastic rooms and superb service, though a little let down by the dining experience. The location is unbeatable for its proximity to both bustling areas and tranquil spots. Overall, a great value for money!
I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious with a good-sized bed and a balcony overlooking the garden. However, there were issues with the air-conditioner not cooling and a clogged sink in the bathroom. The service was friendly and helpful, but there was a disappointing incident with the deposit. The location was ideal for nightlife and close to the old town, with a nice pool on-site. The dining experience could have been better, especially with limited Wi-Fi access in certain areas.
I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, which I only discovered on my last day and they looked fabulous. They were fairly large with a good-sized comfortable bed, a safe, and a balcony for relaxing during the day and evening. While the facilities were very basic, this was expected given the price.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, which was a nice touch. The location was convenient, close to the charming old town while still just a short walk from the beach. However, the dining options could be improved, and the Wi-Fi availability was limited to certain areas.
